What a month looks like

Your month, from the bank feed to the summary.

Every transaction categorized, banks and cards reconciled, the month closed against a checklist, and a few lines on what changed. The figures are sample data; the work is the same your books get.

What Starter includes

Word for word, what the agreement says.

No fine print further down. If a line is not here, Starter does not include it.

  • Monthly bookkeeping with every transaction categorized, up to about 100 bank and card transactions a month
  • Month end close with a documented checklist
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation every month
  • Monthly statements: profit and loss and balance sheet
  • A short monthly summary of what changed
  • Client portal with live reports, documents, messaging, and Ask Luca
  • Questions answered in the portal within two business days, no meetings required

What it leaves out

Starter is the books. The rest starts one size up.

The weekly cash forecast and the full written report

From Essentials, $1,200 a month.

Invoices sent and bills paid for you

From Core, $1,750 a month.

Compare the four sizes

Is Starter your size?

It fits when the books are simple.

  • Up to about 100 bank and card transactions a month
  • One or two bank accounts or credit cards
  • You send your own invoices and pay your own bills, and there are only a handful
  • A service business in the US, on QuickBooks Online

If your books are bigger than that, Adriel tells you on the call which size fits, before you sign anything.

If the books are behind

Getting current is a one time job.

On Starter, a cleanup typically runs $500 to $1,000. It is quoted after looking at your books, and paid once.

Founding terms

The first ten companies.

The price you sign is the price you keep for as long as you stay, and the cleanup runs at half price. When the ten are in, the intake closes.

Tax season

Get to January with the books ready.

Luca does not file taxes. Your tax preparer keeps doing that, and in January gets books that were closed month by month, with the year's profit and loss and balance sheet ready.
